Microneedling: A Revolutionary Hair Treatment

Get the fuller, thicker hair you’ve always wanted with microneedling

At Solea Beauty Salon, we understand that hair is a crucial part of your overall appearance. Unfortunately, many people struggle with hair loss or thinning hair, which can be a source of embarrassment and self-consciousness. That’s why we offer Microneedling, a revolutionary hair treatment that can help to stimulate hair growth and restore your confidence.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that involves creating tiny microchannels in the scalp using a specialized tool with fine needles. These micro-channels activate the body’s natural healing response, increasing blood flow, and stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. Microneedling also helps to create channels for topical hair restoration products to penetrate deeply into the scalp.

How Does Microneedling Work?

The Microneedling process works by creating controlled micro-injuries in the scalp, which prompts the body to produce new collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are essential proteins that are responsible for healthy skin and hair. As we age, our bodies produce less collagen and elastin, leading to fine lines, wrinkles, and hair thinning.

Microneedling also stimulates blood flow to the scalp, which brings vital nutrients and oxygen to the hair follicles, promoting healthy hair growth. By creating tiny channels in the scalp, Microneedling allows topical hair restoration products to penetrate more deeply, increasing their effectiveness.

How often should you get Microneedling?

The frequency of microneedling sessions depends on the individual’s hair loss and treatment goals. Generally, it is recommended to have a series of treatments spaced four to six weeks apart for optimal results.

Is Microneedling Right for You?

Microneedling is an effective hair restoration treatment that can help to stimulate hair growth and improve scalp health. It is an ideal option for people who have:

  • Thinning hair
  • Hair loss caused by genetic factors
  • Alopecia
  • A receding hairline

However, microneedling may not be suitable for everyone. It is essential to consult with one of the trichologists in our Sunny Isles salon to determine if microneedling is the right treatment for you.

Unlock the potential of your scalp with microneedling at Solea Beauty Salon

The Microneedling Procedure at Solea Beauty Salon

At Solea Beauty Salon, we use state-of-the-art Microneedling technology to create controlled micro-injuries in the scalp. The Microneedling tool contains fine needles that penetrate the scalp at a depth of 0.5-2.5mm, depending on the hair loss condition.
Before the procedure, we apply a topical anesthetic to the scalp to ensure your comfort during the treatment. The Microneedling procedure takes around 30-45 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.
After the treatment, your scalp may feel slightly tender and may appear slightly red for a few hours. However, this is a normal response and will subside quickly. You can resume your regular activities immediately after the treatment.
